Additive Manufacturing Cluster of Ohio

To ensure linkages to talent, transformation, innovation, and leadership that comprise the four pillars of the Manufacturing Blueprint, the existing Additive Manufacturing Cluster of Ohio will fold in under the Smart Manufacturing Cluster of Northeast Ohio. The Smart Manufacturing Cluster will not only address the additive manufacturing opportunity but also the other key growth initiatives encompassed in smart manufacturing – such as Industrial IoT, Data-Driven Manufacturing, Robotics and Automation, just to name a few. To learn more about additive manufacturing and any of the smart manufacturing elements – please visit smartmanufacturingcluster.org.

Ohio has an advantaged position for capitalizing on the transformational effect 3D Printing will have on manufacturing economies.

The existing fabric of manufacturers, end-use markets, economic development organizations, professional associations, and higher education makes Ohio a hotbed of current and potential AM capabilities.

America Makes, the National Additive Manufacturing Innovation Institute

Youngstown State University, 1 of 2 leading universities in the nation to offer students all seven 3D Printing processes.

The Youngstown Business Incubator, an internationally recognized incubator focused on the development of software and additive manufacturing start-ups.
